I’ve been meaning to put up this excellent mix by Foamo for some time, finally getting around to it! Touted as one of the brightest up and comers out of the U.K. by way of High Wycombe, Foamo is on the hot tip of just about every Dj and production team right now. His tune “Rockerman” can be heard on the latest Crookers Radio 1 essential mix (mix below) and an edit of “Moving it over Here” by JFK of MSTRKRFT landed on their essential mix as well! “Rockerman” is listed on Drop The Lime’s ‘Top Bangers To Sweat Right Now’ and Foamo’s remix of Primary 1’s “Hold Me Down” on Armand Van Helden’s June Top 10! His collaboration with Swedish producer Hakan Lidbo resulted in a 12 inch released in spring 2002 by the world’s famous Paperecordings under name “Norr/Vychod”.

Aside from French Connection on Radio 1, Tvyks’ latest endeavour is his current collaboration with the Czech singer & musician Gregory Finn. Their Re:ply! project has already led to a single “How Much Is The Milk?” and several remixes for Cassius, Dead Kids, The Kilians and Midi Lidi.

Finally as a DJ, Tvyks benefits from a rich 15 years experience behind the decks of some of the finest clubs across Europe. Digging from multiple sources he selects the ultimate sounds within the trends in order to provide the audience with fresh and sharp mixes. His inspiration varies from house to electro, passing through disco punk, batty bass to acid house, grime and baile funk leading to a powerful head banging feet thumping mix. Yet another fantastic bass heavy mix off the No Love Lost Records Mixtape Project series. This one coming from Bushwick, Brooklyn’s DJ/producer AC Slater. Don’t worry, he looks nothing like the horribly tan, extra beefy, character off the 90’s show, “Saved by the Bell!” What you’ll get is a whole lotta bassline with some solid remixes, a slew of great tracks and a Jeff Spicoli intro – “Make up your mind duude!
