Growing up in the U.S. in the 80’s meant endless viewing of John Hughes films. I believe I watched Weird Science over 400 times, Sixteen Candles, 500 times and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, 600 times. I could never get enough and rotated through those three fantastic movies. Every once in a while it’s nice to be taken back to all that was birthed out of that culture – Nintendo, E.T., Transformers, My Little Pony, Molly Ringwald, Miami Vice, David Lee Roth, Apple, Micheal J. Fox, Jem and the Holograms and so much more.

Finally getting around to posting the latest top mix by Mr Graeme Sinden for We Make It Good Mix Series Vol 3. This mix is drenched with some fantastic tracks from the likes of Fake Blood, Detboi, machines don’t care, Skream and more!! Greame has some words to say on the mix and with each track, which means I am off the hook!!
“It was always going to be hard to compete with the 2 previous DJ mixes in the series (large up Pretty Titty, Chris Devlin) but i managed to surpass them (haha jokes!). Nah serious that’s too bold a claim, but I am happy with how it turned out. Its a fair representation of some of the jams i’m playing in my club sets right now. And the mix is very ‘right now’. As I write this, none of the tracks have been released yet. Not that I just play dubs, mind. I draw loads of old and familiar tunes, too, because that would be dumb and who cares how exclusive you are anyhow. I really wanted the mix to be a kinda preview to a whole bunch of stuff to get excited about in the forthcoming months. It was a good place to air some new productions fresh out the HD (machines dont care, the count and sinden) and big up a few new cats too (rude kid, detboi, mujava). Enjoy!” – Graeme Sinden

Touted as one of the brightest up and comers out of the U.K. by way of High Wycombe, Foamo is on the hot tip of just about every Dj and production team right now. His tune “Rockerman” can be heard on the latest Crookers Radio 1 essential mix (mix below) and an edit of “Moving it over Here” by JFK of MSTRKRFT landed on their essential mix as well! “Rockerman” is listed on Drop The Lime’s ‘Top Bangers To Sweat Right Now’ and Foamo’s remix of Primary 1’s “Hold Me Down” on Armand Van Helden’s June Top 10!
