LA has a new collective crew of intellectual misfits known as Bad Beat LA. Within its ranks are Dim Mak/Cinespace Tuesdays’ DJ Them Jeans and Dan Oh as well as Brother Reade members DJ and producer Bobby Evans (Delicious Vinyl, Telepathe, Neon Neon, Silversun Pickups) and Jams F Kennedy, the rapper who recently took dubstep to the girls with his stellar London-loving verses over Joker and Rustie for that LA dubstep tape.

The xx remixes in their Bad Beat Remix series are pretty dope and now they kick off their Mixtape series with a low five hand clap and 3am beats opus ZOOM! Mixed by Bobby Evans it showcases their sonic travels of the last few months – from LA to London, NYC, SF… and Bristol. It maybe the past, but look see, the future.
