Beware of WILDLIFE’s Jumbie!
Time for another post on WILDLIFE who I’ve introduced to the readers of Trash Menagerie before.
This producer from Berne, Switzerland really is on the rise. He just played a couple of club shows with Terry Lynn before returning to his residency at Club Bonsoir in his hometown. This guy played and produced a mixture of tropical techno and house before everybody jumped the bandwagon.
Now, after doing some remixes, he has finally released his “Jumbie EP”. Apparently, a jumbie is some kind of demon from the carribean, so this tune turned out rather dark and haunting. The list of people who contributed remixes is pretty spectacular: Schlachthofbronx, Edu K, Mixhell, and Beware & Motorpitch.
