Music that has only influences and defy any definite categorization challenge the listener to engage in critical thinking as to why a song is good, rather than rote identification - "Oh, this is [insert genre], I'm a [said genre] head," and such. “It’s the ambiguity that’s often what is most interesting about dance music today; it’s the perpetual question and the myriad non-answers.”

Say word. Music that has only influences and defy any definite categorization challenge the listener to engage in critical thinking as to why a song is good, rather than rote identification – “Oh, this is [insert genre], I’m a [said genre] head,” and such.
