No More Trash

This month marks the last piece of trash I have to offer you. After 8 mixes of live and direct tunes, I am bidding the “Trash In the Bassment” series adieu. I owe all listeners and viewers an enormous thank you for supporting these, I feel extremely lucky to be sharing my passion for music with the world, however niche or limited that world may be. From blog-love to New Yorker magazine-love this mix series has undoubtedly been a positive addition to the musical landscape.

This particular mix format has been a great exercise for me as a DJ, and hopefully to those who listened, as my ultimate goal is to stretch ears and minds with music. In the next phase of my mixtape life I hope to do more conceptual pieces of music compilation. This format has been somewhat limiting in its focus on music discovered in the month the mixes come out in, as well as the overall throw-it-all-together and make it work-thing. Keep your blog-eyes peeled for brain draining posts and further mixtape gamery.
