I have to admit: I never got Chewy Chocolate Cookies until now. I don’t have a sweet tooth. I don’t get things that seem like a marketing gimmick. I’m old school – I like to know the person behind the tricks.
Alas, I received this mix, and I was hooked straight away by the unrelenting pace of the ear-raping squelchy techno stabs. The faint-hearted best stay well away. Fuck it – I can go without knowing all the facts if the music’s leading me astray.
CCC mix 3 is a short 10 minute romp through 17 different tracks from the good and the great – the dirty Larry Tee, Boys Noize, Vitalic, Boy 8-Bit and the ever-fashionable Major Lazer, who’s single-handedly destroying every DJ set around the world.
