Drummatic Twins Commemorate their Deep Throat EP with a Mix !
Ah, the lovely people over at Finger Lickin’ have sent me a mix from their artists Drummatic Twins, who are poised to launch their breaks EP release ‘Deep Throat’ on 10 August (soon!). The EP features three tracks, “Crazy Love”, “Deep Throat” and “Heart Breaker”, with a remix from Peo De Pitte.
Drummatic Twins featured heavily in my years of falling in love with breaks and it’s good to see they’re carrying the breaks torch alive during these darker years.
Who says breaks is dead? The EP is getting props from all sound corners of the UK dance scene, from Fake Blood, Plump DJs, Groove Armada, NAPT and Utah Saints. Eating it up.
Unfortunately the mix only features two of the tracks on the EP, which is a bit cheeky, as you have to wait til the very end to get a taste of what they’re doing. However, it gives you a good run on the old breaks treadmill, which I’m still partial to.
