Fresh Tracks and a Mix from The Beat Assassins on MOFO Records
UK electro and breakbeat producers the Beat Assassins have two fresh releases coming out on MOFO Records. Why these guys have not made it through to the UK mainstream I have no idea, they’ve produced some fantastic club smashers over the years, and as far as I’m concerned they can do no wrong! After smashing the clubs last year with their huge hits Play the Game and We Run Tings they’re back with not one, but two new releases on their Urban Electro Project.
Urban Electro part 1 on MOFO Records: Release Date – End June
A) Beat Assassins: ‘Boom Style’ featuring Sweetie Irie from Gorillaz ‘Clint Eastwood fame!!
AA) And is that wasn’t enough there’s an AC Slater rmx 4/4 bass line madness!

AA) with a filthy dirty, bassline fidget house rmx from Calvertron
Both releases have seen heavy support from the likes of Will Bailey (Twockers), Tom Findlay (Groove Armada), Rico Tubbs, Eddy Temple Morris (XFM), BBC Asian Network’s Sonni Ji, Tittsworth, 2 Bit Thugs, D Code (BBC Radio 1), Kid Kenobi and Apply the Breaks (Breakspoll 2009 Best Breakthrough DJ) to name a few.
In celebration of this, they have compiled a huge, huge mix blending their urban electro sound into drum and bass.
