TM Exclusive – Secret Agent Gel
A little while back I gave you Trash readers some homework on NYC’s Secret Agent Gel. So for those who ain’t know, Secret Agent Gel has been involved with two of New York’s foremost bass nights “Dubwar” and the now extinct “Rowdy.” Dubwar is considered the first proper Dubstep night here in the States and has brought over many European Dubstep producers to the States for their very first time.
For ten years Secret Agent Gel has been working as DJ and producer, during that time releasing various production on labels like Warp, Planet-Mu, and Rephlex. Currently, Secret Agent Gel helps run two labels, Low Motion Records and Bass Tourist Records which feature artists like Sub Swara, Grimelock, Bombaman, DZ, and the Gel himself. Some tunes from those labels can be expected soon and heard below right now. This is an exclusive mix for Trash Menagerie from NYC bass-head Secret Agent Gel, and keep your low-frequency ears peeled.
