So Fine is Brooklyn

Brooklyn, Brooklyn, my heart calls out to you yet again! Such wondrous sounds flow out of your lovely city. Sweet and enchanting, the music of Telepathe, is lush and full of glimmering synths. Forthcoming Dave Sitek-produced album, “Dance Mother”, arrives 14th April, via iamsound records, complete with remixes (cd-only) by Chairlift, The Big Pink, and Atticus Ross. The Telepathe duo, comprised of Melissa Livaudais and Busy Gangnes, will embark on their first headlining tour of the states, this June, in support of “Dance Mother”. Brooklynite, Lauren Flax chimes in with a lovely remix of the catchy, “So Fine”, and back in January, fellow Trasher The Crooked Clef, posted a feature on Kingdom, who remixed Telepathe’s “Chrome’s On It”. Read more about Lauren, in a recent interview on The Brooklyn Rail.

When did Brooklyn become home to pinning for the Midwest in the 80s? Seriously, Brooklyn isn’t known for progressive music anymore. It’s faux vintage this and faux vintage that.
