I Left My Heart In Tokyo
Mini Viva are two lovely ladies from the Northwest part of the United Kingdom who have a love for Tokyo. So much so, the duo created the tune, “I Left My Heart In Tokyo“, to show their affection for the amazing metropolis. In October 2008, World’s Finest Records put out a limited 10″ single of “I Left My Heart In Tokyo”, with a Fred Falke dub mix on the a-side and instrumental mix on the b-side, complete with beautiful Japanese styled package design. A 12″ consisting of two more fantastic remixes by Treasure Fingers and LA duo, Acid Girls followed. I like how Acid Girls took the bassline, (which typically may be found mid-song), and placed it in the beginning. The remix kicks from the start. The LA boys also got a nod in The New Yorker recently. Big tings!!
Catch Mini Viva at the two-day Camden Crawl event, 24 and 25th of April, and check the dates below for upcoming Acid Girls gigs.
