Zac Posen one shoulder fishtail dress
Newsflash – more shizzle to lust after from fashion week! Yes, I know I’m late but this fashionista has been ill….London fashion week updates coming soon!
Delicately intricate Zac Posen’s Fall Collection is utterly sublime, particularly the one shoulder fish tail dresses which make me wish I could actually afford one! Beautiful and feminine – girly ruffles were definitely a big hit during this show. This collection is big on luxury and with a touch of shoulder pads thrown in for good measure, Posen has done good.
Marc Jacobs hot pink coat
Marc Jacobs Autumn/Winter Collection was full of colour particularly in outerwear terms (check out the pink coat below), evening dresses were eccentric but wearable - my favourite being the shiny dress with exquisite fan detail and a miniature tulip skirt yum yum. Metallic brocade puffball-minis, flannel type jodphurs, and cashmere cardigans were sprinkled throughout – the celebrity favourite has come up with the good yet again.
Alexander Wang cut out dress
Another one of my favourites Alexander Wang stuck predominantly to a monochrome colour palette to my delight – it’s easier to accessorize anyway! However it seems the bodycon style of dress shows no sign of disappearing – better tone those wobbly bits girls. Sharp cuts, peekaboo cut out dresses and biker jackets were the highlights.
Celebrity Spots – Nicole Richie and Mary Kate Olsen were spotted hanging out at Proenza Schouler’s show, Christian Siriano, Anna Wintour, and Rachel Zoe at the Carolina Herrera show, Josh Hartnett oozing hotness at the Narcisco Rodriguez fall fashion show. Oh and if you are lucky enough to have not saved your eyes from seeing Pam Anderson in that gold bikini storming the stage for Richie Rich here it is once again…..
