Dev79 – In Ya Face

Kicking around clubs and mixtapes for the past year, Dev79’s street-bass tune “In Ya Face” will finally get the one-two punch of a vinyl and digital release. Out March 10th on vinyl and March 16th digitally, Seclusiasis Records will be doing the bass world justice and you should do your part by picking up the release. Of course if the original isn’t enough to entice your low-end palate, remix treatment is being offered by Egyptrixx (see below), Pharoah of Todosantos, Willy Joy, and none other than Edu K.
You might also be curious about “street-bass,” a fledgling genre coined by both Dev79 and Starkey and incorporating many of the tenants of Hip-Hop’s most elemental sounds and infusing it with the dance floor attitude of Dubstep. To be further educated in the realm of street-bass, later this year on Seclusiasis will be Starkey’s Street Bass Anthem’s Vol. 4. Until then, put this in your face.
