James Zabiela Surprises the Hell Out of Me with “Master Series” Album
You need to download this 20 minute album preview of Renaissance – “The Master Series” by James Zabiela. I honestly cannot believe it’s Zabiela, it’s not at all what I expected. (Have I been living under a rock?!?) Deep, chilled out, spacey, dubby, techy, next level. The sound is hard to describe as he draws from several influences, in what to me, is a departure from the sound i’ve come to know him for. But to those familiar with him, it’s no secret he’s a whiz, and continues to show us nothing’s changed. The sound scape Zabiela created for “The Master Series” is full of intelligent production, that’s thoughtful and provoking, all the while making it sound serene and comfortable. Renaissance – “The Master Series” by James Zabiela will be available digitally at the end of February, and physically March 31st.

I used to listen to Zabiela quite a bit back in 2004. Good to see he’s still going strong!
