Heloise & The Savoir Faire
There’s good reason why Brooklyn-based Heloise & The Savoir Faire have been described by Disorder Magazine as a ”multi-orgasmic experience with heels on”. Their live act takes you straight down the ‘Solid Gold’ days of spandex, disco and dance, with two high motion moving bodies flanked on either side of front woman, Heloise Williams. Packed with sickly-sweet 70’s disco rock, their debut LP, “Trash, Rats, and Microphones,” released Spring 2008, is sure to leave you feeling like glittery gold.
Signed to actor Elijah Woods’ label, Simian Records, H&TSF have just released a remix EP on February 2, of their pulsating song, “Illusions”, taken off “Trash, Rats, and Microphones”, available on digital Ep and limited CD. It includes the original, plus two fine remixes by Filthy Dukes (the team behind London’s Kill Em All club night), and Modus Vivendi (electronica/disco house producer and the original label and management team behind platinum-selling Sam Sparro). James Pants rounds off the Ep, with a remix of “Odyle”.
