Buffetlibre DJs have done it again
We’re a bit late on this and by the time you read this you probably already know: They have done it again. Buffetlibre DJs have asked musicians and other DJs to mess with their favorite tracks from the 70s, 80s, and 90s of the past century. They compiled the results and now offer the world a ridiculously long list of 89 tracks to download, for free. That’s right: eightynine!
I still can’t believe it. I can hardly come up with the time to listen to all this music. It goes beyond my imagination how Marc and Miguel can organize this huge project while flying around Europe to play their DJ sets. (You should invite them to your party, they play wild sets and are fun to hang out with!)
Being Swiss myself, I wholeheartedly recommend the two tracks by Division Kent and Love Motel from Switzerland. Division Kent do a beautiful version of Iggy Pop’s “Cry For Love” while Love Motel tackle Prince’s “Dance On”.

I haven’t managed to listen to all tracks of Rewind 2 yet. As of now, these are my other recommendations: TMX of Budapest’s Kollektiva Crew has contributed a wobbling remix of Baby D’s “Let Me Be Your Fantasy”. I also enjoy Codebreaker’s version of “First True Love Affair” a lot. And then DVAS did a cover of Foreigner’s “Urgent”. All brilliant.
