The Presets & The Aria Awards – They are like . . . GRAMMY’s, YO!
New TM face – “Aria” (yes, that’s really her name.)
I had a great week. I have been head over heels in love with The Presets music from the minute it reached my ears. This week, the gang was in NYC, I met up with K.I.M. and co. on Tuesday night, and the excitement was infectious when he told me that just an hour before they found out they won an 4 Aria Awards, YES, 4!!! Aria’s are the Aussie equivalent to the Grammy’s, and they were up against some stiff competition.*

* CORRECTION: The Aria’s confused me, and its difficult to retain proper information when you’re drinking champagne. Alright, so the gang took home 3 awards so far, and were nominated for 5 more, of which 4 still have yet to be announced.

The Presets didn’t win Engineer of the Year, the guy that worked on Shihad’s (New Zealand rock group) record won it.
But The Presets are also nominated for a further four ARIAs, including Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Best Group and Best Dance Release
