Huoratron and his $$ Troopers
My recent week long sickness left me lifeless in bed and yielded more than a few constant things like getting outdoors, going to events, interacting with others and music blogging! Finally squashed the bug, on the mend and looking forward to getting back to a bit of Trash and some good upcoming shows!! (MSTRKRFT / THE BLOODY BEETROOTS / LA RIOTS / LAZ CASANOVA in Chicago next Sat, 8 March!!!!!)
2007 gave birth to a brand new and exciting Finnish record label, New Judas and with it came some wicked beats. Pushing their mini empire ahead, artists Huoratron, Obi Blanche, Pets On Prozac, DJ’s Les Gillettes and the visual wizards of Vänskap, have a mission to deliver: A record label that never will fail in taking your senses to another dimension. That is fantastic cause I’m all about going to different dimensions! Yay! Since their launch, they’ve played at various venues and at festivals in major cities all over the world and continue to conquer all in their path. They’ve been featured alongside Justice, CSS, Kid 606, Pan Sonic, Get Shakes, Numbers, Miss Oddkidd, Roxy Cottontail and Niyi.
Busy with his latest EP release, “Huoratron: $$ Troopers“, out yesterday, Huoratron wants to ‘RULE THEM ALL’. With looks quite similiar to that of a Roman gladiator – bearded face, matching physique and music that pounds, he very well could rule them all. His commanding beats get into your system like the good drugs your Doc has prescribed and of course leave you yearning for more. If you’ve got an ounce of love for techno, you’ll find a fresh input from Huoratron.
