Art Attack!
In this dull dull month that is January I feel it is necessary to list the things I am becoming dangerously obsessed with: Ice Cream (mainly Caramel), Oscar Wilde, Basteroid and 24…it’s a slippery slope. Lastly I’m becoming entranced by the artful delights of Tansy Myer.
Tansy Myer currently resides in California and creates the most bewitching and colour laden artwork I have seen in a long time, her work is the perfect antidote to snap us out of our January post-holiday blues!
This little lady has most recently illustrated the back to school campaign for RocketDog shoes with her ‘Punk Princess in Candyland’ piece (displayed here) featuring in the campaign. This delicious piece of art has also been awarded with 1st place for Illustration in the Altpick Awards Popular Vote!
