Seems like it was just yesterday, Daft Punk were touring the U.S., and the French Revolution was reignited. So much has happened since that time. They premiered Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, inspired people to dress up in DIY Daft Punk costumes for Halloween, hooked up with Louis Vuitton, assisted Kanye West in hitting #1 with “Stronger, and a whole lot more, which we’ll touch on in the new few weeks. With the release of their new album, we thought, it would be a perfect time to recap.
We’re going to dig back a bit, to some of Daft’s major inspiration, Chicago House Music. Here you can D/L the legendary Romanthony’s unplugged version of “One More Time”. In my opinion, Romananthony was responsible for some of the greatest house tracks of all time - including “Let Me Show You Love” and “The Wanderer”. I’m going to hunt down digital versions of these in the next few days, and share, they are masterpieces, essential “must haves”

Over the next few weeks, we’ll feature Daft tracks, mainly the UN-Discovered type. And we’ll reminisce on the U.S. summer tour with The Rapture, both the live shows and “Dafters”, footage, interviews, and never before seen pics.
